Soundstage is a new design archetype introduced to Philips home cinema category. The crossbow HTL5130B soundstage loud speaker is designed to deliver powerful sound for enhancing your TV. It features an innovative sound concept: a "WaveFlector Technology" that produces a wide, natural and immersive sound for movie and music enjoyment.
The concept of the waveflector is to deliver an immersive cinematic sound by the aiming speakers towards the waveflectors surface installed on both sides of the soundstage for reflecting sound. Angled Speakers placed on in the center beam the sound onto both sides of the articulated sound refection surface and bounced outward to create a wide range of sound projection.
In different from XS1 sound stage, a full relief pattern is sculpted on the top surface of the crossbow Soundstage. The story of the graphical relief is to mimic when sound travels onto the sound reflector surface and bounced outward to all directions. In result, crisscrossing wavy lines of the sound wave pattern creates a beautiful drawing that dress over the top of the Soundstage. 2 bass ports are designed and blended towards the back on each side. The external flare surfaces are crafted to fit harmoniously into the surroundings. Besides offering immersive sound for the TV, a full range of connectivity features are installed for providing pleasure for all-round home entertainments. A strip of silicon rubber controls is clustered and placed on the right side for ease of use.
