The EC90 XD is a full carbon fiber fork featuring a massive crown, robust legs, a tapered steer tube, and, best of all, disc brake mounts. This fork's 460-gram weight makes it one of the lightest options on the market, and due to its oversized construction, it offers the best handling. Like the other products in Easton's premium EC90 line, the XD features full carbon construction, Internal Thread Technology™, R.A.D. Steerer™, and TaperWall™. This fork also has integrated cable routing to keep your disc brake-equipped 'cross bike looking sleek.
The design challenge was to create a wide cross-section profile of the legs to maximize rigidity. A subtle taper on the legs creates a slimmer look and feel. The spread distance between them is designed to clear a full range of cyclo-cross bike tires with 47mm diameters.
